Our mission and motto at Castelar College is ‘to promote the education of the person as a whole, emphasising intellectual, personal, emotional and social growth’ therefore contributing to the overall progress of society at large.

Our philosophy at Castelar is that our students have a right as individuals, regardless of nationality, colour, creed, ethnic origin or sex to form part of and benefit from a solid International educational system.

By taking advantage of all the resources that are available to us through modern technology and communication, we prepare our students for life as International citizens, aware of the cultural diversity in the world, maintaining attitudes of respect and tolerance towards others.

All of this, of course, without forgetting his/her own identity.

At Castelar we firmly believe that only through the teaching of an International curriculum in an International environment can students then go on to fully participate in an ever changing, complex modern society.

The development of the individual and maximising individual potential very much forms part of our school’s philosophy, catering for the needs of each and every one of the school community.

Over fifty percent of our teaching staff are native English speakers while both our native Spanish and English speaking teachers are highly qualified, possessing the necessary academic credentials from their countries of origin, with excellent references and many years experience in their respective fields.
